Students chosen in the final debut selection will join the relevant group’s debut lineup. Programme admission and final debut selection are distinct decisions. Every admitted student has earned a place in the elite educational cohort; a debut offer is not a requirement for that admission.

Up to 200 students worldwide are selected through a two-stage audition. Successful candidates then complete the university’s Round 3 admission process for the March 2027 intake, including academic and other eligibility checks.

Complete your details, add your performance video link and pay the audition fee when applications open.

Department review
After payment confirmation, your details and video link are sent to the track’s Head of Department at Sahmyook University.

In-person audition
Successful first-round candidates receive an invitation to a second-round, in-person audition.

University application
Successful admission candidates complete the formal application and submit high school records for scholarship assessment.
Audition video / preparation checklist
Your own performance. Recorded live.
Submit a video of you performing dance, live vocals, or dance and vocals together in one live take. Reviewers need to see and hear your own ability. A phone recording is enough; professional production is not required.
Picture & framing
- At least 720p HD and 25 fps; 1080p at 30 fps is recommended. Landscape framing is preferred.
- Use a steady camera and even lighting. Keep your face visible; show your whole body for dance and your face and upper body for vocals.
- Keep the performer in clear view throughout. Avoid visual effects, beauty filters or edits that change your performance.
Live performance & sound
- Use a continuous take of your own live performance. Prepare about 3 minutes, subject to the final audition notice.
- For vocals, your live voice must be clearly audible over any accompaniment. Do not lip-sync, tune vocals or replace live audio with a prerecorded vocal track.
- For dance, music playback is allowed; your own movement must be filmed live. Other people’s performances, AI-generated performances and edited highlight reels do not meet this requirement.
Sharing your recording
- Provide an HTTPS YouTube or Google Drive link, or another link the review panel can play without requesting access.
- Use unlisted or anyone-with-the-link access as appropriate. Test the link in a signed-out browser before adding it.
- Check that the full performance plays with clear, undistorted sound. Keep the link available throughout the review period.
These are the preparation minimums for this campaign. Any additional file, duration or submission instructions will accompany the official audition opening.
